**The Role**

Reporting to the General Manager of Greater Wellington, this position is responsible for the successful execution of all Mediaworks radio brands, as well as managing marketing initiatives and national, local, and brand promotions.
- Providing content direction to local On-Air teams and offering management support to national teams.
- Collaborating with national content directors and presenter/show coaches ensuring optimal performance.
- Directing the local promotional team to boost brand visibility and engagement.
- Inspire, motivate and coach the team with the Promotions Manager COT & Onboarding/Training Lead North enhancing on-going skills development and sales behaviours. Ensuring best practices and high performance.
- Lead the development of event sponsorship and partnership proposals to establish Mediaworks Greater Wellington as a market leader in events, partnerships, and promotions.
- Fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders.
- Generate and convert revenue opportunities for clients and brands in the market.

- Proven leadership experience (8 years+) within promotions & events environment.
- A strategic and creative thinker who aligns with MediaWorks direction and will take our team on the journey to get there.
- Adaptive communication style to various situations and audiences with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders and decision-makers effectively.
- Results driven with the ability to successfully deliver on revenue, brand and customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Cool and calm leader especially when under pressure, you radiate energy, enthusiasm and we can do it attitude. Always providing constructive feedback to team members, encouraging learning, growth and development.
- Takes ownership to make things happen with constant focus on delivery excellence and customer centricity.
