Network Operations Coordinator/dispatcher

Reporting to the Reactive Services Lead, as a Network Operations Coordinator in our Dispatch Team, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks within the Dispatch Department including the timely co-ordination and dispatch of faults’ staff for reactive work and booked appointments. You will ensure that fault responses are carried out effectively, job is completed on-time including quality assurance on fault data capture.
- Based in Whangarei you will also be responsible to:
- Ensure customers are kept informed, target times are met, and our faults team are utilised efficiently
- Bring your value-added personal touch to the many administrative tasks supporting dispatch as well as prescribing network guidelines and requirements
- Inform and support the team for situations that require advanced escalation

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will require a degree of administration experience, along with strong customer and people skills, as well as:
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) including a clear phone manner
- An ability to defuse challenging customers and stay calm in a high pressure situation
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially in MS Word and Excel
- Being a team player with a great ‘can do’ attitude
- Having an ability to work shifts
- Someone with strong interpersonal skills ideally experienced working in a multi-cultural environment
- Experience in a call centre environment or similar and in business support systems like SharePoint, CRM will be advantageous
- Commitment to values based decision making
