**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

This is a key role within the People & Performance team and provides dedicated support to an assigned portfolio across the generalist spectrum on people management and development practices
- Partnering with the business (working on multiple portfolios) will be key, you will be a natural collaborator, reach and influence in a time of transformation, transformation that touches on culture, technology, new ways of working and a future of work focus.
- Reporting to Head of Business Partnering, you will be supporting the Senior BP's to deliver exceptional business outcomes through our people that drive a great employee experience as measured through the OCI & eNPS surveys.
- Increasing the capability of our people leaders (T4 and below) to understand and drive people and culture outcomes within their business units with an ambition to increased self-service and reliance.

As a trusted partner you'll need the ability to quickly engage and build effective relationships. Experienced in working in large and complex organisations with the focus of developing a high performing and inclusive culture. An inquisitive mind with a creative yet outcome focused approach to managing and supporting in people related matters.

To be successful in this role you will need
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, or related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a generalist human resources role
- Experience in supporting leaders to manage and navigate employment relations issues of varying complexity
- Previous experience in providing coaching and advice to people leaders
- The ability to understand business issues and demonstrate a business focus
