**About the role**
We are seeking an energetic, proactive and experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Hamilton based team. This role is offered on a hybrid working pattern - (Tuesday and Wednesdays in the office). In this role you will perform a range of accounts tasks, providing support to our internal team and customers. You will be working in a high volume, fast paced and deadline driven environment and will be required to have exceptional attention to detail.

Other primary objectives of this role include:

- Manage accounts receivables and maintain within set parameters
- Allocation of payments against customer accounts
- Banking cheques daily
- Issuing customer invoices & statements and assisting with customer account enquiries
- Maintenance of the Accounts Receivable general ledgers and preparation of associated reporting
- Assist Customer Services with Invoice queries and disputes
- Collection of Overdue Accounts in line with company policies

**About your experience**
The essentials we are looking for include:

- Accounts Receivable & Collections experience in a commercial business environment - agribusiness would be highly advantageous
- Able to work autonomously and to time deadlines
- Able to communicate across all levels of business
- Strong time management and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
- Problem analysis & problem-solving skills
- Competent Excel skills
