An opportunity exists for a _Senior Procurement Officer - Tenders_ to join our National Procurement team. Reporting to the Procurement Team Lead, this role will appeal to those with a passion for procurement who seek to be actively involved in the tendering process.

You will work closely with the Procurement Specialist and participate in vendor selection and negotiation as well as the tenders process. You will know how to execute the sourcing strategy through disciplined tender process and contract negotiation and in deploying strategic procurement frameworks and practices. An ability to guide and advise internal stakeholders on the tender process would also be advantageous.

You will have experience in working in procurement or category management and creative sourcing strategies in procurement. Naturally, you will be proactive in being a team player and hold great communication and attention to detail skills.

You would embrace a uniquely inclusive and culturally rich workplace dedicated to Māori Development. An understanding, or willingness to learn, Māori values, culture and tikanga is necessary.
