Hamilton, New Zealand Peak Recruitment New Zealand Ltd Full time

**Employer: BBO**
- Project manage land development projects
- Civil design, construction supervision
- Strong forward workload including large, multi-stage developments

With some of the largest residential and industrial development projects in the region underway and in the pipeline, BBO is expanding its Infrastructure Engineering team. Land development professionals - this role is for you. Whether your background is in civil engineering, planning, or surveying, if you’re operating at a Senior or Principal level, we would love to hear from you. This position offers the full range of responsibility from project management to steering technical delivery, as well as client and contractor management.

BBO offers a grounded and collaborative environment. Despite its relatively small size (a team of 80+ across its Hamilton & Tauranga offices), BBO competes with major national and international consultants for commissions and has built a strong reputation for providing cost-effective, innovative, and practical solutions.

**The Challenge**:

- Project manage land development projects from investigation through design, consenting, procurement, construction and handover.
- Lead technical development of projects and manage design delivery to achieve project outcomes.
- Manage client relationships with open, regular communication and excellent service delivery.
- Provide mentorship and training, technical direction and oversight to members of the Civil team.
- Work closely with other teams, approving authorities, subconsultants and contractors to deliver a seamless integrated service.

**Your Skills**:

- Hold a relevant civil engineering, planning or surveying qualification. NZ Chartership or other professional membership will be highly regarded, although this is not essential.
- 7+ years’ related experience including prior consulting and land development / subdivision project experience.
- Civil design skills and familiarity with 12D software preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication and co-ordination skills.

Situated on the banks of the Waikato River, Hamilton is a fast growing and culturally diverse city. With a wide range of activities locally, a short drive will get you to the beautiful west coast and in an hour you can be in the bright lights of Auckland city.
