Our clinic on Collingwood Street is seeking an empathetic, experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity, giving you the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of - the Habit Health way.

This is a generalist counselling role - you will have experience in a range of intervention services, including but not limited to: couples counselling, addiction, trauma, child and adolescent counselling etc.

The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is part of the wider Habit Health Group. Our values center around our people, enabling us to provide confidential services to employees across work/life issues.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Deliver focused interventions so that clients ace coping mechanisms at work and life
- Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
- Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
- Deliver training to customer employees

- Tertiary level Counselling or related qualification (Level 7 min)
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT
- Current APC with NZAC, NZCCA, DAPAANZ, SWRB
- Experience in trauma intervention, psychological first-aid

**For Counsellors based overseas**:

- As an accredited employer we will provide assistance in the AEWV process
- Support in gaining registration with the NZ Association of Counsellors
- Assistance in helping you settle into New Zealand
- Contribution towards relocation costs
