The Division of Shared Services is a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all of the University’s internal and external customers.
This role will support the Client Services team in the Faculty of Dentistry Auckland clinic based in Manurewa. The faculty teaches and trains dentists and dental specialists, while also providing best-practice dental services to the South Auckland community.
**_The role/Te mahi_**
As an outstanding and highly organised administrator/receptionist, you will be part of a team that provides essential administration support to our undergraduate dental degree programme, while also playing a vital part in the education of New Zealand’s future dental professionals.
In this role you will provide proactive teaching and administrative support to one or more work areas and will become a trusted point of contact for a range of students, staff and visitors. Along with excellent administration skills, a strong customer service focus is critical to success in this role.
Accountabilities include:
- Flexibly providing teaching administration support, such as student support, timetabling, consulting with teaching staff, document drafting, correspondence and document management and records management.
- Using University systems to update databases, extract data, provide reports, transcripts and other relevant data.
- General administrative support for academic staff members such as, meeting support and travel arrangements.
- Providing front of house reception support.

- Proven experience in a busy administration role where high levels of customer service are expected.
- A passion for delivering exceptional assistance to customers.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
