**The Opportunity**
The Resource & Capability Manager is responsible for ensuring that Fidelity Life’s transformation portfolio runs effectively and efficiently to achieve set goals. This role leads the organisational change and development of a high-performance delivery culture that emphasizes quality outcomes and excellent delivery. The Resource & Capability Manager will provide leadership and overall responsibility for portfolio resource demand management for both Technical and SME resources. This is a fulltime, 6 month fixed term role, role ideally based in our Auckland office.
Some day-to-day tasks involve
- Effectively leading and developing a team of Business Analysts to meet business objectives
- Developing and maintaining a workforce demand and capacity plan as well as strategies that address resourcing, development, retention, and succession planning
- Ensuring that appropriate training and development requirements are met for Business Analysts.
- Establishing the scheduling of projects and work programmes to ensure the right resources are available at the right time with the right skills (within financial and other constraints)
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, change and innovation
- Complying with all organizational policy surrounding Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and adhere to Fidelity Life’s policies and procedures. Provide training to direct reports on all hazards in work area as appropriate to ensure full compliance of the Fidelity Life’s Health & Safety policy and procedures
- Supporting and fostering an environment that enables pro-active risk management and a commitment to compliance.
**About You**
You’ll be passionate about delivering high quality solutions and your naturally engaging, inquisitive style means you’ll thrive working strategically alongside stakeholders at all levels to deeply understand the needs of the organisation. In addition, you can calmly manage multiple changing priorities with sound decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Together with this you will bring ;
- The ability to lead high performing teams and demonstrated experience in people leadership and coaching
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports as they relate to resource demand and capacity
- Experience in change management and implementing initiatives
- Experience in the design and delivery of training and skill development programmes
- Strategic planning skills and experience in developing and delivering demand frameworks, plans and projects to align people and organisational goals and improve culture and engagement
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with a wide variety of stakeholders
