**Mō te Tūranga - About the Role**

As a Learning Capability Manager, you will focus on growing our people capability to be customer-oriented and future ready through engaging learning solutions. Working with the wider Learning, Talent & Culture team, you will have the analytical skills to scope, design and implement learning solutions and frameworks specifically targeted at improving our people capability, customer outcomes and business performance.

As a learning architect, you will take a Human Centred Design approach to drive and project manage the development of learning as well as ensuring all learning aligns with Westpac NZ's vision and strategic priorities. You will use Agile methodologies and engage with stakeholders across the business to develop learning solutions ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory and policy requirements and standards.

**Ōu Pūkenga - About You**

Expertise:

- Experience working in large complex environments (specifically large corporates)
- Ability to project manage multiple projects end-to-end whilst ensuring deliverables are met in a timely and cost efficient manner
- Managing effective and sustainable business relationships in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Experience in juggling multiple priorities for different customers and delivering through and with others
- 3 + years’ experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in the successful development of capability strategy
- Demonstrable experience of the development of learning frameworks which have enabled the delivery of learning solutions across a variety of delivery channels
- Strong commercial acumen with well-developed analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong relationship management, influencing and engagement skills, as you will work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple and often competing stakeholder priorities and requirements using influencing and negotiation skills to reach a consensus
- Skilled at presenting to groups of people in an engaging and meaningful way to communicate learning priorities
- Proven ability to deliver within short timeframes
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement these
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, organisational learning strategy development, blended learning design and development and e-learning resource development for maximum learner benefit (E)

Preferred:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant area, e.g., Business, Commerce, HR Management, Learning & Development, Adult Education
- Financial services, professional services or retail business background and experience
- Experience using Agile and/or Lean methodologies and practices
- Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technologies used for learning and development
