**The opportunity**
- We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Lower North Island team where you will be managing and developing effective internal and customer relationships across the Hawkes Bay and Wellington region. Predominately based at our Belmont Quarry, there is also the flexibility to work remotely.
This role requires you to be committed to succeed and will give you the freedom to carry out the role in a way you see fit.
With a 20/80 split sales/account management, you will be responsible for growth of existing accounts as well as winning new business.
This role requires you to be able to build strong interpersonal connections and recognise opportunities to provide solutions while moving from the transactional to a relationship focus.
It will be necessary to be able to understand some basic technical aspects in this role, so a technical mindset and the ability to understand technical terms and phrases is essential although full training and support is offered.
**About you**
- You’re motivated, realistic and self-sufficient. You are a natural at building strong relationships to ensure you deliver on targets and drive the region’s sales. You are a confident self-starter who will be perfectly at ease working alone in the region, happy to do whatever is necessary to ensure our customer’s high standards of service delivery are met. To succeed in this role you will have excellent time management and organisational skills.
You’re respected in your industry and your credibility precedes you. If you have a successful track record in sales, account management or project management coupled with a strong ability to develop long term client relationships in a technical industry this could be the opportunity for you.
