The Government Communication Security Bureau are excited to be developing a fit for purpose Finance function to enable the intelligence community.

**About the role**:
We are looking for a passionate leader to manage the planning and delivery of all financial accounting, transactional processing and annual reporting and external reporting functions. You will develop and coach a high performing team, champion best practice, and manage the quality and timeliness of output.

As a member of the Finance leadership team, you will also contribute to Finance strategy, and foster a collaborative Finance team culture promoting continuous improvement and a customer service focus.

**To be successful**:

- You will be CA qualified, demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge and previous experience delivering financial accounting responsibilities.
- You will also display strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to provide robust advice and support.
- Along with drive and energy, you will be passionate and proactive about best practice, and will be comfortable leading financial accounting strategy.
- Public Sector experience will be viewed favourably.
