As a **Regional Manager NZ**, you will report to Refinish Business Manager based in **Mount Wellington Office**, **Auckland** and develop a designated PPG Refinish Sales Team following the corporate values while delivering the necessary business targets as defined under the NZ Refinish Business Strategy.

**Responsibilities**

**Business Performance**
- Meet Sales and Profit targets.
- Increase sales and deliver maximum profitability of the PPG Automotive Refinish range of products and services through the development of our business opportunities, both directly and through our Distributor network.
- Improve the financial business performance by developing short - medium
- and long-term business strategies consistent with the NZ Refinish business plan.
- Increase Market Share and identifying brand users and produce strategies to win those accounts.
- Managing distribution channels
- Seek new opportunities across the product groupings covering the car sector, commercial transport and consumables.
- Personally, negotiating larger deals
- Ensure PPG retains its market leadership position with important industry partners including Industry bodies, associations, Insurers, consolidators and buying groups within the state.
- Increase sales of PPG products and services by ensuring they are specified by Industry influencers including Consolidators, franchise and multi branch operators.
- Lead the development and negotiation of sole or preferred supplier status ensuring that PPG is regarded as their product offering and partner of choice.
- Implementing State-based and National marketing and promotional plans

**People Management**
- Lead, recognise, reward, and review your designated team.
- Complete agreed Performance and Learning plans.
- Develop direct reports through ongoing coaching and professional support.
- Ensure the management of staff using PPG human resources practices in the area of performance management, goal setting, leadership development, professional development and succession planning and staff retention.
- Manage resource ensuring high levels of customer service are delivered to end-users.

**Qualifications**
- Preferred Degree plus 10 years’ experience in sales and technical networks in the Refinish paint industry or other technical sales related environments.
- Ability to position PPG as market leader through several industry associations, repairer groups, insurance companies and motor manufacturers.
- High degree of financial knowledge
