**The role**:
We’re on the hunt for a creative and proactive Marketing & Communications Specialist for our Grey Lynn, Auckland office This exciting role will see you act as a key internal and external contact and coordination point as part of our busy team across a wide array of MarComms tasks You’ll be involved in the development and implementation our communications plan by coordinating marketing efforts across the business including:

- Supporting the Head of Marketing to deliver trade marketing and community support activities for our key target customer groups (advertisers and media agencies, government/councils/property partners, staff, NZ citizens and investors).
- Liaising with internal and external resources to collate information and insights, coordinate resources, manage calendar schedules and project milestones, ensure deliverables are aligned and delivered by due date
- Managing the marketing tracker including data validation, reporting, seeking approvals and processing invoices
- Liaising with our external PR resource to deliver media strategy, media relations, media releases, crisis strategies
- Contributing to content opportunities with the marketing team including newsletters, editorial and blogs
- Assisting in Event management and activation of our trade partnerships and sponsorships and client hosting events - where required.
- Bringing innovative ideas, unique and creative ways to engage our audiences
- Fostering relationships across trans-Tasman and other NZ locations, stakeholders and clients.

**The Experience**:
To set you up for success you’ll have a broad marketing skill-set, creative flair and 3+ years in a similar role. You will also bring:

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and can bring together cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes
- The ability to express key messaging, ideas and opinions to stakeholders and wider teams, succinctly and clearly
- An understanding on how to build communications plans and develop content to engage audiences
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced). Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, InDesign and experience Marketo CMS or equivalent preferred
- Marketing or Communications qualification desirable
- A dedicated team player who thrives on pro-activity and is enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
