**The Ro**le**

The purpose of this role is to provide operational excellence in processes, and a highly organised and effective administration function to assist with the achievement of the business unit and broader Company objectives.

Overall, the role is accountable for ensuring that allocated work is dealt with efficiently and accurately and in a customer focused manner, and that operational processes are constantly reviewed to facilitate improvements.

The role requires excellent teamwork and a commitment to working with others to achieve business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Processing and Administration for the Schemes team including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations.
- Processing and prioritizing all Bulk Premium and Claims bordereauxs and liaising with brokers to ensure data received is concise and complete,
- Maintaining accurate records and achieving process compliance
- Providing high quality professional services to internal and external customers
- Strong support to our Scheme Underwriters and having an awareness of our Schemes Governance framework
- Providing support to Credit Control with investigation of issues
- Promoting the Schemes team commitment to best practice across the organisation
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Managing the backlog ensuring volume and numbers are tracked,
- Internal Business Operation checks on the team are adhered to, completed, and monitored
- Adhoc Audit investigations

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong attention to detail and proven organisational skills
- Ability to juggle several tasks at once, maintain a watchful eye on work volumes and service levels
- Strong communications with brokers and internal staff
- Ability to understand financials behind the scenes & how these affect financial performance
- Previous experience of accurately working with a high volume of administrative tasks
- An affinity with systems and numbers
