Job Description: Used Cooking Oil Collector/Sales Rep

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Used Cooking Oil Collectors/Sales Rep

Location: Wider Auckland area, with possible overnight travel all over North Island

Hours: 40 hours per week, early starts are a must. Occasional weekend shifts, during busy periods

Pay rate: $32.00 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect used cooking oil from restaurant grease traps and storage containers.
- Be able to handle and transport barrels of used oil. Must be physically fit
- Perform routine maintenance on collection equipment,
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Sign up new customers by visiting restaurants to explain our services
- Maintain and expand customer relationships through follow-ups and on-site visits

**Requirements**:

- Be strong physically and able to handle heavy objects throughout the day
- Willingness to work in waste recycling industry
- Flexibility to work early shifts (5 am start) and at times irregular hours
- Strong communication and sales skills for cold calling and signing up new customers
- No prior experience necessary, but a strong work ethic is a must
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
- Opportunity to work independently in various locations across New Zealand.
- Experience in the waste management and recycling industry.
- Being a part of a dynamic and goal oriented team

Pay: $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Expected Start Date: 08/07/2024
