**Job Description** About the role**

Help us bring our sustainability stories to life as we move our customers towards the circular economy and a carbon zero future. We’ve got lots of great stories to tell and we’d love to chat with you about joining our passionate and friendly team.

Key responsibilities:

- Work collaboratively with our teams to create communications that tell the story of Waste Management’s innovation and drive towards a carbon zero future for Aotearoa New Zealand
- Help craft communications that deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Use your masterful use of voice and messaging to create internal communications that speak to our Waste Management values of Together, Innovation, Service, Sustainability and Safety
- Write content for blog posts, social media, EDMs and other communications and marketing initiatives as required
- Support our tenders team on a project-by-project basis with content creation, proofing and editing
- Develop outstanding relationships with our corporate, sales and regional teams

**Qualifications** About you**

You’ll thrive in a supportive team environment with a positive, can-do attitude. You have exceptional writing and editing skills, the ability to juggle and prioritise your workload and several years’ experience creating compelling content that motivates people to take action. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification in communications.
