The Human Resources team at the University of Auckland contributes to the University’s mission to be a research-led, international university, recognised for excellence in teaching, research, creative work, and academic leadership. We are looking for a full-time HR Manager / Poutaki Pūmanawa Tangata to join us. You will work with a very supportive, large Advisory / Ranga Pūmanawa Tangata team who provide a professional partnership with academic faculties and service divisions to enable the University to deliver on its people and culture priorities.

We are family-friendly and encourage a balance of on campus and remote working. You will also be supported by a wider team of specialist HR colleagues.

Reporting to the Associate Director Advisory, you will provide operational and strategic HR Leadership to your portfolio, supported by an HR Adviser.

With a collaborative and engaging working style, you will develop partnerships based on trust and integrity and your success will be measured through your ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders on people practices.

The key to your success will be your outstanding stakeholder management capability, excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment while remaining calm under pressure.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, business or related discipline or an HR professional qualification
