Great opportunity to join a small locally owned and operated business who provide services to the manufacturing, science and healthcare sectors across New Zealand. Their core business involves maintaining specialised equipment and ensuring it is working correctly
Working closely with the business owners and the technical team, you will play a key role in providing first class administration, service coordination and customer service to ensure that the business runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The position offers a hands-on person a varied role with great support and training in a progressive and fun workplace.
**Your duties will include**:
- Allocation and scheduling of jobs
- Managing any freight requirements - inwards and outwards
- Checking and validating certificates
- Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone
- Basic accounting including paying suppliers
- Weekly payroll
- Take ownership of Health and Safety administration
- Vehicle administration
- General office administration
**Key skills and experience required**:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience with Xero and ideally Workflow Max
- Highly organised and able to manage several demands at one time
- Confident, proactive with a 'can do' attitude
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Friendly, resilient and mature disposition
- Previous experience with Health & Safety and advantage
