**What is in it for you?**

The prime purpose of this role is to focus on being the people risk adviser to our International Student client portfolio.

Building relationships with our existing clients and working with the BD team on new opportunities.

Being the SME in the international student insurance sector and networking with stakeholders in the sector as appropriate

Total client management will be expected, from relationship building, customer service and advisory services

The ability to identify new opportunities will be required however assistance to convert will be available from the business development team.

**Core Responsibilities;**

**1. Client Service**
- Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards;
- Ongoing management of key accounts, including managing all stakeholder relations (internal Marsh client service team and Strategic CFO forum) and developing a strategic plan
- Assists with the preparation, and delivery of clear and concise client-friendly communications on a quarterly basis, using the peer review process.
- Implement successful account retention and defense strategies; and ensure a high level of client retention is achieved.
- Assisting clients to advocate for students with their claims, and generally being the client’s go-to person for any related enquiries
- Where appropriate develop and maintain effective long term relationships with client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client;
- Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison;
- Maximise utilisation of Marsh’s national resources;
- Possess a good working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments;

**2. Growth**
- Recognise and capitalise upon revenue generation, growth and other opportunities;
- Actively identify additional business from existing portfolio and develop in conjunction with business development team.
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue and retention targets.
- Keep an eye on the competitive landscape

**3. Administration and Technical**
- Ultimate responsibility for the timely and accurate production, processing and delivery of client related activities:

- Installation of any new business or policies
- Internal documentation confirming TOE & LOL.
- quotations - issuing requests for quotations, remarketing policies where required, checking for accuracy, providing recommendations to client in conjunction with placement function
- SME on the International policy and the International student code of pastoral care
- Work with Insurer and placement in setting the annual premium for the year.
- Liaising with clients to obtain student enrolment data
- Annual pricing renewal reports and insurance manuals
- Keep up to date computer system records - files, client list, claims reporting, Marshforce
- Regular maintenance of data and reporting
- Advocating on claims process with client and insurer
- Ensure that you are familiar and adhere strictly to the Company's compliance systems and procedures, including the professional standards
- Ensure all activities fully comply with the Company's Errors and Omissions policy;
- Other duties as may be required from time to time.

**What you need to have**:

- Strong customer centric focus
- Ability to recognize opportunities to generate new revenue/opportunities
- Travel/medical insurance background
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across the team, broader Marsh and Mercer Business.
- Positive attitude and flexible work approach
- Complete all online training modules required by MMC and its subsidiaries.
- Ensures compliance with professional standards including use of templates, client calendar, and peer-review.
- The incumbent of role will be level 5 qualified, or working towards that qualification.
- Be a great team player.
