**_ The role/Te mahi_**

As an Administrator Client Services, based on our Christchurch campus, you will provide front of house, proactive administrative support, becoming a trusted point of contact for a range of students, staff, research participants and visitors.
- Key tasks of this role include:

- Providing high-level administrative support to the Clinical Research Unit reception, including transcribing, welcoming clinic attendees and calendar management.
- Providing a wide range of administrative support including teaching and general administration, diary management, document drafting, correspondence and document management; organising travel and records management.
- Processing accounts and finance related tasks.
- Using University systems to update databases, extract data, provide reports, transcripts and other relevant data.

Due to the nature of the Shared Services Division, the range of tasks and responsibilities is broad and may require performing duties at different locations across campus.

A strong customer service focus is critical to success in this role.
- Proven experience in a busy administration role where high levels of customer service delivery are expected.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service to customers.
- Experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including those with health care needs.
- An understanding of confidentiality issues within a health care context.
- SAP Software experience preferred, but not essential.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.

The Client Services team is part of the Division of Shared Services, a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an outstanding student and staff experience through high quality, effective service delivery to all University internal and external customers.

Our Christchurch campus is home to over 1,000 students and has internationally recognised research strengths in a number of areas including heart disease, indigenous health, infectious diseases, genetics, cancer, biomedical engineering, nursing, mental health and public health.

This is a permanent, full-time position, hours 8.30am - 5.00pm weekdays, located in Christchurch.
