The opportunity
The Ministry of Social Development is looking for an Intermediate to Senior Release Analyst, based in our Auckland office.
Joining a dynamic team of Release Analysts as part of Pipeline Management, we are keen to hear from individuals who have Agile Release Management experience and demonstrate skills in planning, communication working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
This is a challenging rewarding role, working in a highly complex IT environment managing Agile software releases.

As a Release Analyst, you will
- Co-ordinate and maintain schedules across non-production environments through to production.
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams across the organisation
- Work alongside the Senior Release Analysts providing support for software releases

As Senior Release Analyst, you will
- Ensure the delivery of software within the ministry and its progression through test environments to production
- In conjunction with Environments Team oversee the planning, build and delivery of test environments to specification where required
- Act as the face of Release Management within MSD

What you will bring
- Have experience & knowledge in release, environment, or similar management disciplines such as change, incident and problem management.
- Able to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation building positive relationships.
- An understanding of Agile, continuous delivery & DevOps methodologies

Please note you may be required to travel to Wellington during induction and some additional travel may then be required on from time to time.

Position Description

**Salary range**:
**Release Analyst**: $80,219 - $98,045

**Senior Release Analyst**: $98,348 - $120,203
