Senior Test Analyst/Test Anlayst - 12 months secondment/fixed term opportunity
Test Analysts are practitioners and are accountable for ensuring adequate testing is performed to meet client expectations as defined in Test Plans, and within the constraints of the project schedule, cost, staffing, and test environments.

Test Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Accept responsibility for creation of test cases using own in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specification
- Produce test scripts, materials and regression test packs to test new and amended software or services
- Specify requirements for environment, data, resources and tools. Interprets, executes and documents complex test scripts using agreed methods and standards
- Record and analyses actions and results, and maintains a defect register
- Review test results and modifies tests if necessary
- Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with the overall project
- Report on system quality and collects metrics on test cases
Key Requirements
- Exposure to various types of testing
- Ability to effectively utilise tools for the development and maintenance of test deliverables
- In depth exposure to various techniques used to analyse, prepare for, and execute tests
Senior Test Analyst
In addition to the tester key responsibilities and requirements, the Senior Test will bring with them the below.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate communication / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific tasks
- Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.
- Mentoring junior and intermediate test analysts
- Negotiate with stakeholders at senior levels, ensuring that organisational policy and strategies are adhered to
- Advocate continuous improvement of the
- Provide informed feedback to assess and promote understanding
Key Requirements
- Five plus years' experience in Manual Testing
- In depth exposure to various types of testing and can determine when each is suitable for use on various architectures.
- Ability to effectively utilise tools for the development and maintenance of test deliverables, including automation/scripting tools, defect management systems
- In depth exposure to various techniques used to analyse, prepare for, and execute tests
- Mentoring junior and intermediate test analysts
- Extensive experience in working as a tester in an Agile environment
- Extensive knowledge of Defect and Release Management
- Having experience, Curam, MyMSD, Apex, SWIFTT and BPM/ODM desirable
- Extensive knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle
