**About the role**: As the Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) you will be responsible for ensuring that our end user services are fit for purpose, safe, secure, and well are supported to enable our business operations.
The end user environment is predominantly a modern managed Windows 11 solution with some legacy SCCM. This role will be responsible for working with and overseeing our support vendors to deliver, support and manage our Standard operating Environment. A decision maker for both maintenance and enhancements of the SoE and our modern management / InTune services; finalising the Windows 11 deployments; as well as being a key player in our M365 journey and beyond.
This role is both a technical leader and a relationship management role. The person needs to understand our client's needs and interrogate environmental data to drive service improvements to enhance our end user experience and better enable a modern workforce operating from both office and remote locations.
This is a vendor management role, building relationships and providing technical guidance to our vendors to ensure technical excellence, service needs and standards are maintained.
We have two Technical Delivery manager roles in DIA that support each other; one has more of a desktop / end user responsibility (this role) and the other more of a server, cloud infrastructure focus.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Vendor management - keep our suppliers and key partners on-track and 'honest'
- Work with vendors, third parties and clients to integrate solutions
- Facilitate and lead meetings to ensure operational progress on solutions and product enhancements
- Act as escalation point between technical delivery and vendor management
- Engagement with the business to plan, monitor and implement solutions
- Provide recommendations for improvements to operational activities
**Your background**:
- 5+ years' experience in a technical role (preferably in the operations and infrastructure realm)
- A strong technical knowledge is essential (Industry or tertiary qualifications required)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate complex concepts and models at a level which builds business understanding
- You will be a Relationship Manager and Vendor Manager extraordinaire
- Proven ability to build strong relationships internally and with key partners to deliver outstanding consultancy services and support
- Knowledge of IT Managed Services and ITIL
- Bring a sense of humour with you - we do enjoy a laugh
**What it's like to work here**:
DIA is looking for our next super-star who will help our team take customers on a journey with proactive service, great technology, and a vision of excellence for the future.
What's in it for you?
