We have an exciting Project Admin role come through with an urgent need

Our client is a construction business that has its origins in the Construction Insurance Re-instatement sector. Their core focus is Assessment, Estimation, Project management, and they have their own large team of trade sub-contractors.

They have grown very fast in recent years and are always on the lookout for good people to join the team.

With the increased number of insurance re-instatement projects they are urgently looking for an experienced Project Administrator to join the team to assist one of the very busy Project Managers.

There are at any time between 15 to 20 projects underway with this PM and we need someone that is not afraid of picking up the phone organise the various sub-contractors, materials and all general aspects of project coordination. Being able to make decisions and manage a significant workload, constantly reviewing priorities, problem solving and coordination of the various stages of project delivery is imperativ and ultimately keeping all stakeholders happy. It’s a fast moving sector, no two days are the same and massively rewarding in terms of job satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilties**:

- Manage and oversee end-to-end project support to the project manager across multiple projects at any given time
- Ensure all documentation, reporting, milestone tracking is up to date
- Assist the Project Manager in all necesary requirements across subcontractors, stkaeholdrs, documentation, materials and all general aspects needed
- Management of document and contract registers
- Management of Project Control Group meetings, minutes and actions
- Coordination of contractor and client reporting
- General administration
- Ad-hoc wider team support as required
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar project support role in construction would be advantageous
- Familiarity with construction project documentation
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Procore) and able to learn new technology quickly
- An analytical and logical approach to organizing and carrying out your work
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Personal drive, initiative and a natural curiosity to understand and solve problems
- Ability to build relationships both internally and externally with stakeholders, subcontractors and colleagues
- Vaild NZ working rights

**Having construction experience is crucial,** and if you have experience in construction insurance sector would be ideal. We do not need to a project manager but if you have some experience or training here that's great
