We have an opportunity for a Head of the Office of the National Director to join the leadership team. This role will support the National Director in the overall management, delivery, and coordination of the Pacific Health group, ensuring our kaimahi are supported and our objectives are met.
The Head of the Office will implement group-wide processes, procedures, tools and templates for Pacific Health and input into Te Whatu Ora wide planning and reporting. This role will lead and coordinate the successful resolution of day-to-day issues, represent Pacific Health on business projects and identify and enact process change and collaborative work for the group.

Mōu | About you
You are an experienced leader ready to step into a Head of Office role. Your career has seen you working in roles that improve Pacific health outcomes, reduce inequities and progress Pacific Health
- and you have deep ties with Pacific communities.
Government processes are familiar terriory for you, and you know how to influence and streamline business processes. You have a strong understanding of Pacific and local populations, how they view health and how they want us to support them
- and can use this understanding to build strong relationships and networks.

**You will have**:
- The ability to maximise the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve Pacific health vision, priorities and outcomes
- Experience in developing and providing advice that brings innovation, cultural knowledge, and expertise to life through gathering the right information
- The ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels within the public and private sectors, related industry and community interest groups and the wider national and international communities
- A tertiary qualification in a health or relevant field and/or equivalent experience and significant policy experience

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
