**Family Description**
Project Management (PM) comprises project management for execution of cross-functional / geographical projects and programmes from initiation to completion. Covers determination of project / programme goals and support of business objectives and strategies. Ensures projects / programmes achieve their targets, keep their schedule, and maintain estimated cost, time, and quality within planned scope. Covers management of risks that affect the delivery of project outcomes.
**Subfamily Description**
Customer Project Management (CPM) ensures customer projects / programmes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Contains projects throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion / care / operation. Comprises management of customer (and all stakeholder) relationships and expectations during the contract fulfilment as well as project team members / resources. Contains project risk management and driving of improvement actions to secure project gross margin and upselling and cross-selling.
**Responsibilities**
The Project Director/Programme Manager performs a wide range of duties including the following:
- Lead the Program Management of all Project Delivery activities for one or more key accounts.
- Work closely with the Customer (at Network Planning Heads, Operations Heads, CTO Organization), the Service delivery Domain leads overseas and governs the delivery of customer projects / programmes within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
- Tracks the financial data of the projects / programmes and forecasts changes in financial health of the project on a continuous basis throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion.
- Instils financial disciple among the Project Managers to ensure risk management and to drive improvement actions to secure project sales margin and by upselling and cross-selling.
- Guides the team towards continuous cost optimization and margin improvement.
- Guides and supports the PM community to resolve major issues that typically involve working with multiple stakeholders within the Organization, as well as lead customer discussions for resolution of complex issues.
- Responsible for all Escalation Management with clear Communication plan towards Customer, as well as Nokia internal stakeholders.
- Work with Global Organizations for resource forecast and allocation for project / programme delivery.

**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 12 years commercial experience in telecom is required, with at least 10 years’ experience as PM delivering to an external end-customer in the Telco Operator domain
- Experience with profit and loss management of complex project
- Mandatory, experience and understanding of Cloud, IMS, SDM, Orchestration, Activation and Assurance platforms.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills - both verbal and written. Project Management Certification such as PMP or Prince2, or equivalent
**Impact**
Impact is primarily short term and and typically functional, departmental or small single geographic in scope through management of resources. Accountable for departmenta/program goals, achievement and cost performance. Actions and errors will normally impact business, program, project, function. Marked contribution to defining the direction for new products, processes, standards or operational plans based upon business strategy.
