**About the role**

The information function at Police is growing and we want you to be a part of it Police holds a massive variety of information and data distributed across numerous systems and tools. We are looking for information experts who understands the value of well managed information and can help us realise that value across all the places our information resides.

This role is focused on helping our staff manage their information in our M365 environment. You will use your experience of the platform, and your IM knowledge and skills to help teams get the most out of the tools and improve how Police is managing its unstructured content across the enterprise.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Subject matter expert for the realisation of Information Management in M365.
- Design structures and solutions in our SharePoint based Managed Content Store and help to maintain them.
- Provide advice and guidance on the use of M365 and other Police information tools.

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the M365 product team and the community of IM super users

- Experience/knowledge of information management in government and the skills to realise good IM in M365. Experience administering M365 products in an information management context.
- A healthy level of curiosity and self-awareness, and the ability to learn from your mistakes.
- Awareness of the NZ government information environment, including legislation and standards impacting on the use of M365.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills, a team focus work ethic and an ability to work collaboratively with a range of people and teams.
- An ability to manage yourself, your time and your commitments in and outside of work.
- Strong years’ experience working in Information Management in government, and/or a postgraduate level degree in Information Management (or a related discipline).
