**Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role**

Reporting to the Manager Planning, this position sits in the strategy and performance team. You will provide a high level of strategic thinking and planning while working across a wide range of branches within this diverse and unique organisation. You will build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and ask the right questions in order to provide fit for purpose plans that meet our statement of intent.

**Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you’ll bring to the role**:
Your strong background and proven experience providing strategic thinking across a wide range of business groups will be foundational to success in this position. This dynamic and fast paced role requires flexibility, resilience, and excellent prioritisation skills. A good understanding of finance would be an advantage for this position.

**To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will**:

- A strong background in planning, strategy, monitoring or policy that allows for a broad overview of a large and complex organisation
- Proven experience implementing systems thinking and strategic planning
- A relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience
- Exceptional relationship management skills, along with the ability to mentor team members
- Strong Analytical background (both qualitative and quantitative)

**The salary range for this role is $134,190 - $149,100. We will appoint based on skills and experience relevant to the role, the midpoint of the salary band is $141,645.**
