**About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi**

Fonterra is embarking upon a programme to deliver a simplified and standardised set of business processes to support the Long-Term Aspirations of the Co-operative. To enable this, the Core System of Record (CSoR) will be replaced with a set of simplified and standardised business processes, based upon the next generation of SAP’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, S/4 HANA. The CSoR Programme will cover processes operated within the SAP system, covering Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Sales Order Fulfilment. The programme will be of significant size and scale for the co-op.

This role, **Data Tooling Lead**, will report to the Data Transformation Lead, CSoR and will be accountable to ensure the tools used in Data Migration are configured, maintained and used in a way that optimises their functionality and delivers efficient and high quality outcomes. In this role, you will review existing tools and advise on the use of news tools with the aim of determining what best meets the CSoR requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- CSoR design documents: Participate in the creation of the CSoR data related design documents to identify the Data Migration requirements.
- Selection: Review existing tools that Fonterra is licenced to use and new tools that better support the S/4HANA target system and provide advice in the form of advantages and disadvantages of each to the Head of data and the Data Transformation Lead. Participate in the review, selection process and decision making for the any tools that are to be used.
- Configuration: Lead as required to configure the selected tools in a manner that provides the best and fullest use of the available functionality to meet requirements both in relation to migration of Data, reporting of status and achieving quality outcomes.
- Standards: Develop and document standards to ensure the most efficient use of the selected tools and a standard approach that all users must follow.
- Maintain: Assess and Monitor tool usage to ensure that standards are being met, Update configuration and documentation when required and communicate to all users and other relevant stake holders.
- Capabilities: Ensure that the tools capabilities are used to their maximum extent but creating the appropriate standards and monitoring and identifying where this is not being done.
- Training: When required, train users is the use of the tool and ensure understanding of the standards document.
- Data Activities: Support all Data Migration activities, Data Preparation, Data Extraction, Data Transformation, Data Loading and Data Reconciliation and Verification to deliver to requirements by designing and building fast, repeatable and where possible automated processes with the aim of delivering reliable and accurate data at all stages.
- Implementation: Use your technical expertise to develop processes, programs and rules to support the project and other users.
- Licences: Ensure during the selection process, that the longevity, support and licencing of all proposed tools are considered alongside project times lines.
- Resolution of issues: Work with the stakeholder groups and the wider programme team to resolve issues and obstacles associated with the progress of data cleansing activity.

**Qualities that will help you succeed**:

- 10+ years’ experience in Data Cleansing or similar data role strongly preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience on ADMM and at least 5 years’ experience on Data Services is essential
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, and project management skills
- Agile Mindset and drive to meet all programme objectives
- Strong business acumen and ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders across all levels in the organisation
- Good understanding of a data transformation journey
- Creative thinker with ability to generate solutions from complex problems and challenges
