Mō te tūnga | About the role

The Case Manager will meet frequently with registered persons to complete RMF assessments, respond to identified risk of further offending along with identifying and implementing support needs for registered persons. This is a challenging role, but you will undergo specific training to gain the knowledge and understanding of how to assess and mitigate these risks.

**Key Accountabilities**:
Provide end to end monitoring and management of registered persons, with the aim of ensuring compliance with the register, whilst providing support leading to desistance from offending.

Demonstrate professionalism, mental resilience, and the ability to foster and develop lasting functional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including registered persons, various government departments and community-based organisations.

Undertake investigations of registered persons where suspected breaches of conditions or offences against registry conditions occur. Investigations of registered persons suspected of online offending or contact offending involving child abuse or child exploitation.

Supporting and deploying to work alongside other National, District teams and operations including participating in the District response car roster

Shift work required

Subject to rotation within Wellington District CIB group for Detective qualified staff

A Non-Core Children’s Worker Security Check is required

Attendance at two one-week NZ police-led CSOM training courses

Gold PPDP (preferred)
