Sales Retention Executive

We are looking for a Sales Retention Executive to join our NZ team on a fixed term contract.
**About the Role**
In this opportunity as Sales Retention Executive, you will:
- Covers complex deals, including proactive outbound engagement during the renewal window.
- Identifies the best virtual channel for engagement with customers
- Validates customer needs, shapes product plans and drives deals to close
- Supports in developing and executing territory growth strategies
- Possesses core knowledge across products within the subsegment, and engages BDM's where deep product expertise is required to drive to close
- Understands specific customer archetypes and needs which are most prevalent within the subsegment and territory
- Focuses on driving retention and achieving renewal targets by engaging existing customers during the renewal window (and in some instances outside of window)
- Leverages automated and insight-driven Salesforce workflow to progress deals
- Listed as the main point of contact for customer escalations.
**About You**
You’re a fit for the role of Sales Retention Executive, if your background includes:
- 10 years experience in Account Management or Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance/Accounting, Commerce or Law preferred.
- Strong relationship building skills and experience in establishing up to C level relationships.
- Interest in Gen AI and/or experience in presenting more complex technical concepts ideas to clients
- Ability to develop account strategy.
- Previous exposure to the Technology/SaaS or IT sector (highly advantageous)
- Excellent account planning skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
