We're looking for someone who loves to learn & grow
- Do you have payroll experience and/or a strong administrative background?
- Based in Auckland or Wellington with the flexibility to work from home.

Due to an internal promotion, we are on the hunt for a payroll professional who's keen to learn and join our tight-knit payroll team. You'll reap the benefits of an environment that nurtures and grows you as an individual. You will join our highly experienced payroll team - where collaboration, fun and a supportive working environment is the norm

**He aha te ia o tēnei mahi - What's this role all about**

As a key member of the team you will support your payroll colleagues on the full end-to-end payroll process to ensure our Kiwibankers are paid correctly and on time, every time. This includes providing administrative assistance to the payroll team and payroll advisory services to our valued employees, leaders, and the people team - along with assisting in the smooth running of wider people operations functions

**Tā mātou e kimi nei - What we are looking for**

We're looking for that special someone with payroll experience and/or someone with a strong administrative background who is keen to quickly learn and grow. If you have that natural ability to problem solve, you are good with numbers, have a can-do attitude, and know your way around a computer, then this could be the Kiwibank opportunity for you
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years Payroll/Administrative experience.
- You have excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Have a good understanding of HR Processes, policy and New Zealand employment legislation.
- Experience using Jadestar, ServiceNow and Microsoft Excel would be an advantage; but is not essential.

**Ngā painga mōu - What's in it for you**

When you join us at Kiwibank, you'll be given the support you need to succeed. Our work environment is safe, accessible, and representative of our customers and communities. We're proud to have the **rainbow tick**, we are a **certified B Corporation**, and we were the first bank in NZ to get the **gender tick**.

Our great range of benefits for permanent employees include health and life cover, discounted banking, insurance products and an incredible package for new parents. We're also an accredited Living Wage employer. We have LinkedIn learning, Health and wellbeing offerings such as Employee Assistance Programme and free flu vaccinations.

**At Kiwibank we're all about making Kiwi better off and that means you too**

Your employment would start with us during a period of community transmission of Covid-19 throughout New Zealand. As a business operating in that environment, we have responsibilities under the Health and Safety Act 2015 to minimise the risk that our workers might catch or transmit Covid-19 while at work._**

**_
Being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 is therefore a condition of all roles with Kiwibank for any new employee who is able to be vaccinated. Your employment would be conditional on you being fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and providing us with evidence of this._**

**_
Under the current Covid Red traffic light framework, you will be required to work from home. It's essential that you have suitable broadband internet, private workspace with your own desk and chair. Technology, including a laptop and headset will be provided. Once the Covid restrictions ease you will be welcomed back into the office, with continued flexibility to work from home._
