You will be part of the HRIS and Payroll team within the Corporate Services Directorate, who as a group delivers advice and oversees the assurance functions associated with the organisation as a government department.
Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
As the Senior Payroll Advisor, you will be responsible for completing all payroll activities, responding to payroll queries, and providing resolutions to issues. You will work closely with the wider People and Capability team to provide accurate people information and ensure a professional payroll service is delivered.

- Relevant payroll experience and sound knowledge of payroll related systems
- The ability to prioritise and adapt easily, with great time management skills
- Keen eye for detail and high level of accuracy
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant NZ legislation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
