Great, we have **two** permanent, 30-hour part-time positions that promise a chance to be a part of something extraordinary in the heart of the city centre.

We think of the Operations Team as the ‘engine’ of the central hub. You will be part of a passionate, fast-paced, high-performing team at the leading edge of our mahi. This is your chance to see what it takes to run a library, have an impact in our community and deliver stellar customer service. As part of the Operations team, you will support our local communities by delivering a range of services and supporting the Central Library to run smoothly.

We are a multi-site integrated hub, which means we do it ALL Not only does our mahi encompass the Central City Library, but we also deliver great programmes at the Ellen Melville Centre and the Albert Park Caretaker’s Cottage.

We’re not just looking for anyone - we're seeking those who thrive when working with process, loves to solve problems, is curious and can see opportunities to take things to the next level. And most importantly, you love people, libraries and the unique central city.

**Here are some other key things we are looking for.**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- A passion for providing great customer service,
- Can use digital platforms and understand financial processes,
- Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds,
- Comfortable with technology and able to support customers to successfully use information resources and devices,
- Willing to ‘muck-in’ with the delivery of all our Library and Council Services,
- Flexibility and collaboration across all aspects of your mahi,
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills,
- Knowledge/understanding of Te Ao Māori or willingness to learn.
