**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
Two fantastic opportunities have arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistants, one is based at Northcote Library, working across Kaipatiki Local Board Libraries. The second opportunity is based at Devonport Library working across Devonport Takapuna Local Board libraries.
- Northcote library role is a fixed term 22-hour part-time position, over 3 days that includes Sundays.
- Devonport library role is permanent 16 hour part time position over 3 days that includes Saturdays.

Our Libraries are a great location for the community to connect, learn, relax, and enjoy a safe welcoming inclusive public space. We are focused and committed teams who take pride in creating a wonderful customer experience and our Library & Council Services Assistants play a vital role in ensuring this happens.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
This role will focus on supporting the day-to-day running of the library and front-line operations. Your natural ability to relate well with people of all ages and backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and strong digital skills will ensure that you are able to successfully engage with our customers. You are someone who prides yourself on providing an excellent level of customer service, keen to learn new skills and engage with our diverse and vibrant community.
