**About The Role.**
Are you a seasoned professional in fleet management, looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact? NHR Group, a leading company in the rental and leasing industry, is seeking a National Fleet Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our rental and lease commercial vehicles fleet across the country. Reporting ly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with the rental team to develop strategies that maximize fleet utilization, revenue, and establish key performance indicators for best practices.
Your role will involve optimizing fleet utilization, managing budgets, overseeing vehicle build operations, and implementing improved maintenance regimes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective management of our nationwide fleet vehicles.
**Your Skills and Experience.**
To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications and training in fleet management are advantageous
- Prior experience in fleet management, preferably in the transport industry
- Experienced in development and implementation of strategies
- Strong analytical, organisational and tie management skills
- Sound knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Familiar with vehicle build operations and asset lifecycle management
- Proficient in using fleet management software and tools to track and manage fleet performance
