Our Cyber Security team are the guardians of our Data and Digital environment against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats We're here to ensure the safety of Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora. Our innovative cyber security operating model is designed to tailor the resources needed for boosting our cyber security readiness. We take care of leadership, management, delivery, and support across the board.

At the heart of our mission is managing risks associated with safeguarding our valuable information from potential threats and vulnerabilities that the health sector might encounter. By tackling these challenges together, we're addressing information risk head-on. Our efforts contribute to the health sector in multiple ways by ensuring business continuity, enhancing operational efficiency and achieving cost effectiveness. **Mōu | About you**

As the National Security Capability Manager, you are a senior trusted leader in Te Whatu Ora. You will be responsible for managing and uplifting the cyber security awareness and education across Te Whatu Ora and the wider health sector. This includes the development of security education, learning and development resources, and the management of suppliers involved in these activities. You will also oversee the communication and reporting of these initiatives and will strive for continuous service improvement.

Your role is crucial in creating a cyber secure culture, promoting cyber security awareness and education to the workforce and wider health sector, ultimately improving the overall security maturity of Te Whatu Ora.

**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, delivering, managing and maturing Awareness, Training, & Education, or similar programmes on a large scale.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in Data and Digital portfolios such as cybersecurity, privacy or data management.
- Experience with tools and practices for delivering Awareness, Training, & Education such as intranets, LMS, Phishing testing solutions etc.
- Proven experience in managing and overseeing projects, including planning, budgeting, resourcing, and risk management.
- Proven ability in team management and conducting performance reviews.
- Experience in risk management and reporting.
- A track record of writing board papers and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- High computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
