**SKODA** New Zealand - National Sales Manager**

Our Client, SKODA NZ is one of the most tradition-rich automobile makers in the world. They have been part of the Volkswagen Group since 1991 and today are one of the most successful automobile brands.

SKODA are well established in New Zealand and their dynamic range of vehicles are becoming more popular year on year.

Being imported to New Zealand by European Motor Distributors (a Giltrap Group company) they pride themselves on their dealer partnership experience and know that their performance at retail level, is driven through their partnership and working together.

**The Role**

Due to an internal promotion, SKODA New Zealand are looking for their next **National Sales Manager** to lead their successful and highly motivated sales team.

As the National Sales Manager you will effectively manage the functions within the retail and corporate sales of the SKODA brand while maintaining an industry leading standard of professionalism and achieving business objectives.

**The Detail**
- Developing sales programmes in line with business objectives and KPIs
- Assist the SKODA dealer network to drive vehicle sales, including facilitating the sale and delivery of SKODA fleet vehicles to the dealer
- Management and distribution of the monthly retail data alongside the SKODA Product Manager
- Monitor Dealer inventory and review vehicles sent to dealerships
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vehicle sales staff, and making regular visits to dealerships to focus on operational and sales issues
- Development and implementation of SKODA specific trainings for dealer sales staff
- Develop and coordinate sales contests and promotions
- Quarterly review of annual business plan with dealership, and developing of annual vehicle sales business objectives and targets
- Design and implement dealer bonus program alongside SKODA General Manager
- Development of the SKODA Corporate Sales program for both SKODA NZ B2B sales and assisting dealers with programs to conduct B2B and Corporate SKODA sales, and liaise with lease companies to assist with Corporate Sales
- Overseeing the business management process
- Review of monthly financial forecast
- Working alongside the SKODA Product Manager and SKODA Marketing Manager on event organisation and logistics, strategic product planning and new product adoption, SKODA market positioning, and product related sales tools.
- Assist in development of vehicle sales coordinator and operations assistant role, and conducting bi-annual performance reviews
- Achieve KPI's in sales performance against business plans, profitability of vehicle sales and aged inventory levels

**About You**
- Creative and able to think outside-the-box
- An excellent communicator
- Effective and proactive problem solver
- Automotive Experience is highly desirable, as is knowledge of the NZ automotive landscape
- Strong IT skills and organised
- A strong planner
- You will be a strong leader who can take stakeholders on a positive journey
- A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
