Mō mātou - About us
The Legal Services team provides advice, support, dispute resolution, civil litigation, prosecution and tax technical services to the Customer and Compliance Services (CCS) customer segments and other parts of Inland Revenue. Legal Services is part of CCS - Business and is one of the largest government in-house legal teams.
Mō te tūnga - About the role
We have number of permanent Business Support (L2) positions to provide high quality and effective administrative support across Legal Services. This role will see you work closely with your peers and team members to deliver a consistent level of service that is customer focused and adds value. You will also be a valued part of the Legal Services team supporting the services we deliver for our customers. As one of the largest government in-house legal teams and you will support the breadth of our work but with a strong focus on our debt, civil and criminal litigation.

**In this varied role you will do the following**:

- Produce, co-ordinate and distribute information and documents in a tailored format to support delivery of better business outcomes
- Assist Legal Services with bankruptcy and liquidation processes
- Build highly effective relationships with the national team and other key stakeholders
- Use Legal Services Evidence Management Tool, to prepare documents for court hearings
- Work across internal Inland Revenue systems
- Assist with updates to the intranet and other guidance material
- Assist with reporting
- Undertake general administrative activities such as closing litigation files, archiving and updating records

- A desire to be part of an in-house legal practice committed to delivering for your customers
- Experience in an administrative or business support role, alongside a sound understanding of MS Office

The salary range for the role is $56,028 - $67,506. The salary offered will be based on skills and experience assessed during the interview stage. We also have a Flexible Working Policy whereby staff can accumulate time credit for overtime worked.
