**About the opportunity**

Our client, a well-established company in the flooring industry, is actively looking for a skilled and experienced Commercial Flooring Consultant to join their team. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality flooring solutions for commercial projects, they offer an exciting opportunity for individuals with flooring or comparable experience. As a customer-facing role, you will be responsible for pricing and minor project management, collaborating closely with clients, architects, our PM and contractors to provide exceptional flooring solutions. **Role Description**:
Join as a Commercial Flooring Sales Consultant in Auckland, responsible for driving sales and fostering client relationships. Leverage your expertise in flooring solutions to meet client needs and contribute to the growth of our client.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide expert flooring recommendations.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for accurate project estimation and planning.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including cost estimates, material selection, and installation timelines.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation process, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Provide ongoing customer support.

**This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background / experience / qualities**:

- Proven experience in commercial flooring sales or consulting would be ideal
- Knowledge of various flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, architects, and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
