**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**: As one of our Leadership, Talent and Growth Leads you will be responsible for the Talent and Career portfolio which includes MBIE’s people value proposition and branding, early in careers, induction, career pathways, job architecture, future skills, strategic sourcing, internal mobility and alumni.
You will be a resilient and influential leader with ability to engage and partner with the diverse business groups across MBIE, to co-design and progress innovative talent and career initiatives and solutions that have a positive impact for our organisation. This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will have opportunity to make a real difference for our kamahi (staff), MBIE and the wider public service.

Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required We are looking for an individual with proven leadership experience and embedding new ways of working within a large and diverse organisation

**Further to this will also demonstrate the following**:

- Experience leading a team to deliver innovative organisational development approaches that address the needs of a changing workforce
- Sound relationship management skills with an ability to lead through influence resolve differing perspectives and move others towards a common goal
- Success in developing, executing and embedding strategies, frameworks and programmes and monitoring and measuring impact
- Knowledge and experience of te ao Māori and te ao Māori practices; tikanga, te reo and a comprehensive understanding of the Treaty, Te Tiriti and the Treaty Principles
- Must have legal right to live and work in Aotearoa NZ
