Infrastructure and Digital Assets (IDA) provides a range of services to support the delivery of Corrections' core business and ensure we can maintain consistent service delivery regardless of external events and crises. The group comprises four key areas: Asset Management, Procurement, Public Private Partnerships and Digital.

The Asset Management team is currently looking for a Business Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality commercial and business-critical asset management functions. Comprising of commercial contracts, the Infrastructure and Facilities Portfolio Management Office, Procurement, and Fleet functions this requires sharp commercial and financial acumen and focus to get things done. The role works closely with the PMO team to guide infrastructure projects through the governance and investment processes and is heavily involved in Capital Planning and financial management for the Portfolio with a capex budget of over $100 million and an opex budget of $72 million. The Business Manager also oversees fleet strategy development, implementation, and service, as well as working with the relevant teams to assist with procurement for asset management and the management of contracts.
The Business Manager works closely with the Director Asset Management to provide advice and support wherever possible. This includes highlighting, managing, and addressing performance issues and risks identified through portfolio reporting and working to improve processes with key internal and external stakeholders.
A degree in a business, property, or commerce related discipline is required and previous experience as a team leader in accounting, planning, property management, or project management is desired.

- Broad experience in asset management and all stages of the capital project lifecycle
