Currently looking for a Licensing Asset Manager to manage licensing for both software and hardware to help improve the licensing environment. This position will sit within the IT Operations team and include managing a range of both internal and external stakeholder relationships.
You will be responsible for managing the hardware and software assets, including inventory management, license tracking, and more. Key stakeholders are internal business clients, Technology and Digital leadership, and technology vendors.
**Key experience required**:
- Own the Service Asset & Configuration Management processes
- Lots of stakeholder and vendor management
- Experience working in a medium to large organisation
- An understanding of software licensing and compliance principles
- Desire and willingness to learn new technology
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly
- Good organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Detailed understanding of Google, Microsoft, and Oracle licensing rules
- Understanding of IT system components and how these related to a software license
- IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience
- ITIL v3 Foundation ,MCP or ITIL SAM - Licensing or equivalent
