About the role


We are looking for a hardware asset manager to join our Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) team in Wellington.

The hardware asset co-ordinator will be responsible for managing and supporting all asset records and information in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring all contract deliverables and reporting needs are met.

Working closely with the Service Delivery Managers, you will be representing the SACM team at client meetings, as well as being tasked with driving improvements and best practice initiatives to continuously improve the delivery of technical solutions to our customers.


Some of the responsibilities in this role will be:

  • Monitor the Service Request queue and ensure all tasks are completed within contracted SLAs.
  • Action customer requests for CMDB updates and requests for information.
  • Maintain and support the asset records and information in the configuration management database.
  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of CMDB information using accuracy processes.
  • Ensure all contract deliverables are met for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure customer scheduled reporting is delivered on time.
  • Work collaboratively with Service delivery, stakeholders, and customers in the delivery of services.

About you:

You will have:

  • Over 3 years' experience in a Hardware Asset Management role
  • Experience or knowledge of Asset or Configuration Management.
  • Familiarity with IT service management processes.
  • Experience in request processing and queue management.
  • Exposure to ITIL framework.
  • Knowledge of Service Now or similar tools for information management.
  • Procedure and report writing skills.
