The opportunity:
AIA New Zealand is looking for an experienced Change Manager to plan, lead and implement change management strategies and plans for assigned projects to successfully manage associated impact and embed change in order to maximise employees’ adoption and usage of required changes.

Key responsibilities include:
- Shape and oversee change plans, manage and implement change activities to support the delivery of business case outcomes along the delivery life cycle, ensuring that the changes and new ways of working are successfully embedded whilst maintaining a customer-first approach in any change process. This will include assessing the scope and scale of change impact on all stakeholder groups of assigned projects, change approach, leadership alignment, training etc.- Lead the co-design and delivery of effective change activities with a clear view of interdependencies between change activities. This means partnering closely with project managers, business owners, business analysts and impacted teams to test, learn and adapt the change approach as needed and shape the future state of work to safely embed changes.- Identify the change impact and size of the gap between the current state and future state, and ensure the right change interventions are designed, developed and implemented to address these and equip those impacted for success.- Regularly assess change readiness across all key stakeholder groups and implementers of change. Ensure that those impacted by change are ready, willing and able to implement the shifts required to deliver the identified business outcomes.- Develop and implement the change approach of projects, ensuring that it is aligned with the organization’s change strategy and is maximizing synergies and integrating change with other change projects to achieve identified business outcomes whilst managing anticipated and persistent change resistance.- Enable the design and development of key change communications and support the delivery of communication efforts, keeping project team and key stakeholders well informed of changes and actively seeking feedback from the business to ensure successful delivery of the assigned projects.- Facilitate the collaborative design of, and a shared vision and ownership of change across projects within Enterprise Delivery and the wider organization.- Establish clear change objectives and measures of success that address and deliver the project objectives, outputs and outcomes.- Ensure there is effective monitoring in place of change, including the speed of adoption, extent of uptake and proficiency, and that the change has been well embedded to ensure sustained results and benefits realization.- Provide regular status reports relating to the assigned project’s change activity, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, and provide communications on project activity as required.- Proactively anticipate and manage change risks for assigned projects and manage them in line with our risk framework, providing timely feedback to the Program Delivery Manager and Risk team.- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.

Actively practice and model change practices, change management framework, methodologies, tools and templates to promote and mature these change capabilities within Enterprise Delivery and across AIA NZ.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.- Experience with leading large-scale organizational change efforts.- Ability to translate complex organizational change and tell a compelling change story to gain support with audiences at all levels.- Knowledge of change management principles, change methodologies and tools and experience leading and delivering large-scale organizational change efforts.- Demonstrable experience leading end-to-end development and execution of change management plans with structured change management methodology, frameworks and tools, as well as project delivery lifecycle.- Outcome-focused with extensive experience designing and implementing effective change activities.- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation sk
