**PRE-SALES CONSULTANT SME Business - Spark NZ**

- **What your day will be like**:

- Consulting with business sales and service delivery teams and customers alike to understand customer ICT requirements, design suitable and functional ICT solutions, prepare professional proposals and present to the customer with a view to complete the sale.
- Conducting professional meetings tailored to suitable levels of delivery for CEO, CFO and CIO or technical and non-technical staff, in a manner that is credible and instils confidence to a degree of promoting yourself to becoming a trusted advisor.
- Driving technical discussions with customers, including presentations, proof of concepts and technical demonstrations around the Spark’s Managed Data, Voice and Collaboration and ICT suites via video conference or over the phone where travel is not justified.
- Supporting the sales team in identifying and pursuing new ICT opportunities and attending customer meetings to provide a live coaching environment, benefitting sales team product knowledge & development.
- Contributing to RFP responses, including solution design and cost estimates
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients
- Engaging with stakeholders as required, utilising tool and system processes to achieve the best delivery outcomes.
- Putting forward suggestions on improvements to ways of working to drive efficiency and improvement of customer experience.

**What you will bring**:

- Experience selling Telecommunications, Networking & IoT services in either face to face or virtual engagements.
- A growth mindset and desire to deepen your knowledge of ICT solutions.
- An ability to tailor your approach to connect and share complex ideas simply, with a wide variety of customers.
- A thorough understanding of sales, including pipeline and portfolio management with the ability to deliver overlapping projects simultaneously end to end.
- Flexibility to travel if and when required.
