**About the role**

The Supply Chain Management Group
_ _oversees the procurement, lifecycle management and sustainability of NZ police assets and equipment. As the Lead - Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), you will be working within the Equipment Management team whose role is to ensure NZ Police’s frontline tactical equipment is fully supported.

Key Accountabilities:

- Build relationships with Business Partners, Police staff, other government agencies
- Manage and deliver ILS policy, strategies, processes, and training
- Contribute to continuous improvement to support systems

We are looking for people with demonstrated experience in equipment management and ILS practices. Be conversant in digital equipment management and inventory tools with a strong analytical background and have good communication skills who can demonstrate effective working relationships within teams; and build key relationships with Business Partners, Police staff, other government agencies. Someone who will lead and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving, understand the difference between making recommendations and decision making. Previous experience and a working knowledge in tactical equipment (weapons, body armour, uniform, for example) would be an advantage.

This role is set at
**Team Leader/Manager level**, this means your key purpose is “to lead the activities for Our Business and enable people to deliver them.”
