**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position Title**

Entertainment & Experience Manager

**Objective of position**

Facilitate growth of the business through growing, selling, managing and developing sales products and function packages whilst providing an epic hospitality experience.

Head of Operations, General Managers, All site teams, suppliers, contractors, customers

**Duties and responsibilities**

**Role Specific**
- Overall control of all function, event and Masterclass packages and bookings. This includes managing the customer journey from booking to delivery, as well as management of booking systems, and training of hosts and event-specific staff.
- Regular and consistent training of all events/Masterclass hosts to ensure Epic standards are service are being met at all times.
- Ensuring that all venues are correctly prepared to host events/Masterclasses, particularly if these are hosted during hours that sit earlier than standard operating hours. This includes the correct number of staff rostered based on events PAX, opening systems are followed, Duty Manager present, lighting, music and ambience is correct, venue reset has been done correctly, and overall the venue is ready to provide epic hospitality from the moment guests arrive.
- Ensuring all events/Masterclass staff are provided with correct uniforms.
- ResDiary booking system is used correctly, and good communication and training is provided to all site managers/duty managers to ensure correct use of the system by all.
- Any feedback or complaints are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- All confirmed bookings are pushed thru to accounts to ensure accurate invoicing. In liaison with accounts, outstanding invoices are chased up with customers to ensure payment terms are met and bookings are fully paid in advance.
- Liaison with kitchen and managers to ensure any food and dietary requirements are met for bookings.
- Liaison with owners and marketing to ensure function packages are current, prices are accurate and meeting targets, and any revisions are communicated and made.
- Manage the Epic Moment kits at all bars, including replenishing stock and training new staff on Epic Moment procedure and culture.
- Ensuring Epic Moments are always included in each and every booking, including all masterclasses and functions.
- Minimum of 4 hours set work at the Epic office every Wednesday.
- Manage the event plan for new ideas, including creating new events in liaison with Owners and Design.
- Hosting of all Epic ritual events, including quiz nights, Language Exchange evenings, and other special themed events as required
- 2 Duty Manager shifts per week

**Role Generic**
- Comply with the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 and amendments, Smoke Free Environments Amendment Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2003.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor and gaming licence/s.
- Ensure all staff are aware of their obligations pursuant to the Sale of Liquor Act 2013 and the companys liquor licence is not jeopardisedthis includes patron conduct and intoxication.
- Ensure all funds and proceeds belonging to the business are accounted for, secured and locked in the safe before leaving the premises.
- Ensure productivity from staff members on all shifts and maintain a positive working environment throughout.
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and tidy and in good working condition.
- Update daily records as necessary.
- Ensure the security alarm is activated and functioning before leaving the premises.
- Ensure the premises is a safe environment for all patrons and staff, and complies with OSH requirements at all times.
- Participate as a constructive member of the management team with the view to maximising business sales volumes and profitability.
- Complete other general and duty management duties in liaison with the Owners from time to time.
