This position will suit those who have a genuine passion in delivering superior guest service at all times in a warm friendly manner. In doing so you will become an integral member of our Front Office team that believes in and exercises this service culture.- This role suits somebody that is continuously willing to go beyond their checklist, learn more and strives for excellence within the team. - Skills & experience- Middle Management experience in a 4-5 star hotel or similar environment
- The ability to multi-task
- You have a working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera, and Micros
- Training, coaching, development and retention experience
- Organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication
- A current Manager’s Certificate, First Aid Certificate and a full driver’s license preferred.
- Maintain staff morale and team cohesion through productive and positive leadership, actively seek and implement ways to increase team morale, develop and retain team members.
- Accurately record, track and review training and development within the department.
- Direct, supervise and assist colleagues to ensure a high level of productivity and service standard within the department at all times.
- Ensure a full understanding of all job responsibilities within the Front Office Department in order to cover this position in their absence.
- Support and actively cultivate an environment of positive service within the department to ultimately achieve a level of service quality that consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of guests and team members.
